TEMPORARY REGISTRATION

How do I register my vehicle in my ParkUT permit account after purchasing a new car with temporary registration?

The State of Utah prints a unique temporary license plate number on the Utah Temporary Operating Permit.  Please register this number in your account, including all letters and numbers.

NO PLATE?  NO PROBLEM!

If your vehicle does not have a temporary plate or permanent plate yet, please register the last 6 digits of your VIN.

Write these 6 digits legibly on a piece of paper and tape it to your back window until you have temporary or permanent license plates.

Once your DMV-issued license plates have arrived, you will be required to immediately update your information on your online parking account. Failure to add the new vehicle license plate information may result in an unnecessary boot, tow, and possibly revoked parking access.
